I'm having trouble deciding what CPU + GPU combo I should go for. I am building a Mini-ITX system with an AM5 socket (preferably). I have the case on hand, but everything else I will buy come Black Friday/Cyber Monday. Does anyone have any suggestions?
CPU - ??? (7800X3D or R5-7600x???)
COOLER - Thermaltake TH240 ARGB ULTRA V2 (It has LCD screen so I can add gifs LMFAO)
MOBO - Any Mini ITX B650 board (thinking ASRock? bc its cheaper?)
RAM - Any set of 2x16 DDR5 - 6000 CL30 (Trident Z Neo RGB? RGB looks cool...)
GPU - ??? (7800xt or 7900xt)
PSU - ADATA XPG CORE Reactor 850 (Its A tier so..?)
CASE - Thermaltake Tower 200 (I bought this case already, I freaking love it and I have nothing in it xD)
STORAGE - Samsung 980? Kingston NV2? Sabrent Rocket? (≥1TB, minimum cost)
STORAGE - 2x Micron M510DC 960gb Enterprise Drives (Already have these too)
MAX BUDGET 1650 USD (thats why im torn between a 7600x + 7900xt, which I can upgrade to a 7800X3D later, OR 7800X3D + 7800xt.
Idk, this is my first PC. Im running a Lenovo Ideapad gaming with an i5 and a 1650 Mobile which has started to poop out on me.
I will mainly be using this computer for gaming (currently at 1080p but hoping to upgrade to 1440p by Christmas)
Main Games I play:
-World of Warships
-Hell Let Loose
-War Thunder
-VR Games (KTANE, Phasmophobia, Beat Saber)
-CS2
-Overwatch
-Any game that looks freaking cool minus recent AAA games such as Cyberpunk or COD:MW3
Among these uses I also want something that can be used for CAD (I want to be an engineer) and 3D modeling, as well as running simulations and doing general homework stuff. I also want to run Spotify, Discord, and my game without trouble. I also want it to last at least 3-4 years.
