Hey all,

So I just got done with a grueling 9 hour build yesterday and as of this morning have updated the bios, AMD chipset drivers, and GPU drivers.

However, upon entering my bios I noticed that my CPU voltage seems awfully low. From what I read online the default should be around 1 or 1.2v? I just want to make sure my system is okay before I start doing any stress test. Here is my bios page: View: https://imgur.com/a/VapM62Z

Thanks for the help. You guys have been amazing!

Hey there,

When you updated your bios, did you clear CMOS afterwards. This could be the issue.

It does seem low, but at idle and base clocks, I wouldn't expect voltages to be too high either.
I dont even know what CMOS is lol. Should* I clear it? I thought maybe it was just low in the bios but even sitting at the desktop my voltage ranges from .85 to .92

Hmmm. So what should I do? Please forgive my ignorance
Go into your bios, at the page where you exit you bios again usually there is a setting called restore/load defaults or something similar.

So in this case, although resetting bios defaults may help, clearing CMOS involves either shorting two CLRTC pins on the side of the mobo. You do this after you take the battery out. Or some motherboards have a CLRTC button, and in that case you would simply press it.

Try this: https://gzhls.at/blob/ldb/1/7/2/c/52dbded3268f642f45ee5cbe082cd9cbf84a.pdf

Page 4, 19 shows you the place where the pins are at. Page 24 - No 11 has the clear CMOS guide.

Let us know how it goes.
