The conductive pen version (rear defroster repair kit) is quick, simple, easy to do (no soldering required) and can be adjusted to provide up to 1.55v. You only need to solder caps if you want 1.6 or 1.7 volts and I can't say I'd recommend that for 24/7 use without some serious cooling.

After a change to a Zalman GPU cooler and doing the 1.55v mod and the mem v-mod I'm running 651/1800 24/7 and I can run/game 701/1800 with no artifacts.

At 1.55v and the Zalman cooler I run the same temps as I did on stock volts and stock cooling. (Thats why I'm comfortable at 651mhz 24/7 - At 701mhz Gpu I run too hot at load)
