you can't argue with 800mhz.

I'll agree , modding a 7900gt to that extent is sickening, and I'm highly considering doing a EVGA trade up program on my not that old 6800gs from my HTPC in order to play with this monster and get it running 800mhz/2000mhz stable - which is a nightmare of gaming power unheard of before.

I have a x1800xt on my every day use computer -- a much simpler mod on the x1800xt (which I'm considering) would be quite easy since the volt mods can be done through software & it comes with a beastly fan setup which you could customize your case to get more cool air in -- 1.7 volts could be seeing 900mhz core, and the memory is rated higher so could possibly break 2000mhz -- it runs .09nm process just like the 7900gt. Another beast unleased.

These are both scary cards, but I still am partial to the x1800xt, especially in Oblivion which is almost reason enough to own a specific card - phenomenal game.
