7950 or 4850 crossfire??

Hey Guys

So should i run with my xfx 7950 or run with radeon 4850 crossfire??

I would totally run the 7950. The HD4850 is a 5+ year old VGA model that eats power and gets super hot. The power and heat that it emits is not worth the performance compared to the 7950. I have a 4870, and it pushes 70c on medium settings.

7950, although they have shot up in price drastically, it's a great card. I'd always suggest a good card over 2 weaker ones. Even the newer r9 270x wouldn't be bad, would probably play anything on ultra 1080p well.

7950 is more powerful, cooler, easier and won't have crossfire issues. There is literally no downside to running it over 4850s. That is saying you own both and were deciding which to use

4850 crossfire is a bad idea. use the 7950. the 4850 cant even play some newer games due to lack of dx11 support.
