Hi I've got an 7950x3D and been doing some benchmarks on it.
I'm using process lasso to force run the game on the vcashe side of the chip which results in ~70c temps and about 4% better performance.
Now running the game on CCD without 3d vcashe has the cpu running at only 50c making the pc virtually silent with near same performance.
Are those normal results? I was expecting the 3D chip to make a bigger difference in gaming.
Also did a cinebench r23 run and scored 36.2k with 82c max temps so the processor as a whole is fine.
In bios got PBO enabled, xmp enabled, rebar enabled. Ryzen master up only for it's nice ui to track the core boost.
Pic is benchmark score at 720p lowest settings to bottleneck the cpu.
