Hey Guys,

These are the two cards:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121638
OR
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121560

I wont spend anymore atm because im australian and alot higher in australia.

I will eventually be going with sli or crossfire depending on what card i end up getting.

I would be overclocking the card and i will be playing MW3 and battlefield 3 and Minecraft.

Which should I go with for better performance gaming and rendering videos?

I don't think anything fun's coming out in 8 days. honestly, as matt has researched and round, the ASUS 680 is possibly the best buy, and I don't think you can really go wrong with either.

honestly if you're purely interested in extreme performance, any pair of the cheapest 670s at stock can beat the ASUS 680 at max OC...

That $50 hike in the price sure is justified by "Kasperky/Wifi/Daemon Tools" clearly 😛

Download Microsoft Secruity Essentials or Avast, both great free anti virus programs. Also you will want Spybot Search & Destroy and MalwareBytes Anti Malware programs, all free, no bloat.

😱 u got me. I want the Maximus V formula for my e-peen :kaola: . No, actually I'd want an ROG mobo and since it's either this or the Gene(too small), I picked the Maximus. Its 300 without taxes, and it has all I need plus it fits my color theme build :sol: .

Its ok haha all this talk about GPU's are good for me :), but i have decided that im going with Asus 670 Top Edition, so you can continue haha but ive made my descision :)

it is arguably the best high-end card you can buy on the current market. I'm sure you'll be very happy with it :)

If you receive your card in the next 7 days or so(i will order my build in 10 days), I would like very much to have you opinion on it as an owner, maybe with some benchmarks too if you can and have the time and patience. I too am deciding between 3 cards: 670 top, 670 power edition and 680 top. And congrats on your decision, I too think it's a great card. 😀
