Hi all,
This is a very smooth board. However, one thing:
Looking at the CPU temp reported in EasyTune4 - CPU 55C
Comparing with Speedfan 4.17 - CPU 43C
Could it be that ET4 reports CPU's on-die temp?

feedback appreciated!

Believe that EZ Tune reports the temp from a device that reads and converts
the data from an on chip temp diode.

Yep, found that confirming in another forum - Gigabyte reads the Tdiode thus
temps are about 10C higher. However, ET4 is using a 60C CPU warning preset
which is is a typical value for the old fashioned sensor, but way too low
for Tdiode readings.

thx for the feedback

have the same motherboard vt600P-rz in a P3 case cpu running at 47-48C without panel cover on with a PSU 400 with a one of those with a fan on bottom large u know inside the case.Had a PSU 300Watt in it and the temp without the cover was 49-50C temp rises with cover on to 59-60C. has a cooler master HSF unit which came with the board 9 years ago.Have cleaned heat sink paste off with no change,Unsure what to do at this point should I install a different HSF unit on it to bring down the temp and do u have any suggestions as what type HSF I should use for this socket A
