I just built a new computer and I'm seeing something I've never seen before. When I go into system properties my installed memory (RAM) reads 8.00 GB (1.92 GB usable). This has me a little worried. What does the 1.92 GB usable mean? Is everything okay? Can someone explain what is going on? Thanks.

What version of windows are you using ? to me it sounds a lot like you have installed a 32bit OS - which has a maximum amount of memory it can address....

I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit - What is the maximum amount of memory 32bit reads? I did not think 8GB was much and I don't remember seeing the problem before.
