Question 8-GB RAM. How can I know whether it is 1Rx8 or 1Rx16 or something else?

I have a pre-owned 8-GB DDR4 RAM stick, which is a single-rank memory with eight chips on one side and no chips on another side. I have never used it. How can I know whether it is 1Rx8 or 1Rx16 or something else? I found the following screenshot on ebay.

I am thinking about buying a motherboard which supports 1Rx8/2Rx8/1Rx16.

R is rank or how many sides chips are on. The 8/16 is size in gb

So that stick is 1r x 8
