hi,

i want to ask if there is any adapter for 8 Pin PCIE Female to 4 pin female molex adapter, or 6 pin pcie male to 4 pin female molex adapter ?

i know there are many 4 pin molex to 6 / 8 pin pcie adapter for powering GPU Card, but i need the other way around.

if you guys confused why i need this cable, is that i have device that only have 6+2 pin pcie cable and 2 pin (for fan) from the PSU. i bought Anker USB 3 pcie that need power from 4 pin molex, and my PSU only have those cable (6+2 pin pcie and 2 pin fan).

Anker product:

or is there any adapter from 2 pin (fan) to 4 pin molex adapter? can i power the card with this 2 pin port?

where can i find those adapter? kind regards,

On the pre-assembled modules you do not go by the color of the wires on the module. There is a label affixed to the module that tells you what wires are the +12V input and what wires are for the +5V output.

You need to wire a 4-pin Molex peripheral power connector, like the ones found on an ATX power supply, to the +5V output wires of the module, paying attention to proper DC polarity to the correct pins. Look at the pin assignment for the Disk drive connector here:
