My motherboard CPU power supply is an ATX12V CPU 8-Pin plug, my power supply only has an ATX12V CPU 4-Pin or EPS12V CPU 8-Pin. and the shapes dont match but the problem is the shapes that dont match are still smaller than the sockets as they have cut corners. i dont know if i can put it in without frying my pc even though the shapes are wrong but they all fit

I'm not sure if I get the question...
If they don't match the shape, do not put it in. If one of the pin has a different voltage than the correct one, let's say a 5v pin was needed, but then the one u put in has 12v, you'll be in a big trouble....

.... and then as for EPS12V..., yes they are for CPU power, you should be fine putting that in.

4 and 8 pin plugs for MB have only +12v and ground connections. 4 pin has 2 x +12v and 2 x Ground. 8 pin has 4 x +12v and 4 x ground. +12v is usually yellow and ground has black wires. Any other voltages would be wrong and potentially fry everything.
Plugs are keyed so no other connectors would fit. PCIe connectors don't fit either.

its the right wire but its about the compatibility. the shapes are different but it still says eps/atx and although the shapes are different the different shapes are smaller than the holes anyway so it still fits
