[SOLVED] $800-1000 RGB gaming/streaming build

I've got a friend who needs a PC to stream and to play, and I was trying to help him figure out parts to get but I am too busy as of right now so I came here yet again for help.

He can't live without unicorn vomit, unlike me (I don't think rgb is necessary as long as it performs well). He wants to be able to use OBS without any sort of lag, as well as play games with probably about a solid 144 fps.

He uses ethernet as well, so no wifi card or motherboard with wifi included necessary.

Still I recommend performance over RGB Bling which helps no way in performance and makes it worse as we have to cut down on lvl of components we have to fit in the budget decreasing overall performance.

I hope you do realize that R5 3600 and RX 5700 XT combo will outperform R7 2700 and RX 5700 by a decent margin and specially at 1080p that difference of gain is worth spending on performance over RGB

Yeah I would definitely include a 5700XT and 3600. But then you get into the whole compatibility issue with the 3600 and B450 motherboards if you decide to go that route. I'd personally rather eliminate that issue right out of the box.

I wanted to give them an idea of the cost of trying to RGB everything - I was under the impression that the OP's friend loves RGB - the more, the better.
Your build is more affordable, sure. But it does not contain as much RGB as the one I put together.

Now that brings mine to $1146.52.
King Dranzer's is more affordable, but next to no 'bling'.
It comes down to how much that friend of yours really favors their 'rainbows'.

Both @G-unit's and @King Dranzer's are better in value over what I put together.

Your build is more affordable, sure. But it does not contain as much RGB as the one I put together.

The case, motherboard and RAM all have RGB and all sync with the Asus controller on the motherboard. I would include more but budget restrictions would prevent me from doing so.

Yeah, budget isn't big enough for an RGB gpu and fans also. They can have some bling, just not all of it. That was the point I wanted to get across.

No problem. And yeah exactly - some RGB but you couldn't have a full blown RGB system on that budget. You can always add more after you get the build done.
