I am looking into building a gaming pc and I need some advice on what parts I should need. My budget is around $800 and I have gone a little bit over my budget so it would be much appreciated if someone suggested some alternative parts that could bring the price down but keep the performance up.

The R9 280 should be the same price as that 270X and has more VRAM. Alternatively the 4GB 270X is only $10 more than the one you listed. Either of these cards I have mentioned would be better than that 270X.

Added a better cpu for gaming.
Added a lot better gpu.
Added a cheap case which will do fine.
A very good psu.( a little cheaper)
An optical drive ( if you need it, can remove it if you don't).

Does the case have a built in fan?
if not could you suggest another case that will fit the hyper 212 evo?
