sorry for the late reply, i currently have a gtx 780 and i will mainly be playing in 1080p and 1440p. im probably going to go with a gtx 1070 and oc my cpu to 4.5
The GTX 1070 is faster than even the Titan X (Maxwell). So yeah, that too will struggle with the FX-8350. But not as bad. My FX-8350 @ 4.7GHz struggles with my GTX 980. Not so much CPU bottleneck, as just not fast enough IPC with the AMD chip.

yeah im eventually gonna have to upgrade but for the time being i have to survive with my 8350
