8350 failing intel burntest at stock speeds after 30 seconds.

Intel burntest tells me my cpu is unstable after about 30 seconds at stock clock speeds, it has done it with the stock fan, and with my aftermarket hyper 212 evo, after starting the test the core's almost immediately go up to 100% usage and the cpu temp spikes into the 65-70 range, what's going on here? motherboard is a m5a97 42.0

Did you check your voltage! And to be honest i have never heard of an 8350 with stock fan

Your reaching thermal limits of your 8350. Its working as intended.

Why exactly are you running a burn-in test? Are you overclocking?
