I have a XFX R9 390X. While im gaming it is always under 65°C, but today i decided to test the cooling performance of my case and the GPU. I was using Furmark and it went up to 85°C for a second, but then i inmediatly stopped the stress test and temps went back to normal. Btw, It seems to run perfectly normal.
Could any damage been done to the GPU in that short period?

for reference:
95-100 is throttling territory, you do not want to operate there in a planned fashion even for short periods, and certainly not for a long time. Accidentally being in there for a while won't hurt it, but setting yourself up to run like that is a bad idea.

Yes, i know. I've been reading something like that. But the PC seems to run just fine. Is that ok?

yeah. 85C is good, no harm with that. it would need to be 90-95C before I'd worry.
