$850 Gaming PC Build

Greetings everyone! I am a PC Gamer, but alas, I have always bought pre-built rigs. I am not that knowledgeable when it comes to building a budget gaming PC. I don't know what parts will give me the bang for my buck. I'm a total Newby, and I would like some assistance.

My max budget is a little over $850, I really need it to be under $900. (it can be borderline close)

there no gpu as there going to be after the first from nvidia more info on when pascal gpu are dropping. right now your in between old gpu and the newer ones dropping.

Hello,

Your first build was good, although, there could be some positive changes.

1. You should buy the i5 6500 for only 20$ more, but you'll get 3.3Ghz, as opposed to the i5 6400's 2.7Ghz.
2. Buy a Z170 motherboard, it makes the CPU's overclockable. You might not want to overclock it, but maybe in the future.
4. Your case is fine, although, you chose a Mini-ATX motherboard to go in an ATX case. I would recommend Corsair's 200R because I'm an aesthetic freak.
5. Choose atleast a 650W PSU, that's ATLEAST Bronze. Titanium > Platinum > Gold > Silver > Bronze > 80+

For $30 more above your budget, this is way more reliable, especially with the PSU. A bad PSU can damage your entire system.

those are great builds and i would personally go with the first one but with maybe a 750 watt psu for future upgrades and also a modular psu just to make everything more clean and easier to control.
