8600k vs 8700k for vr

I'm currently using a i5 6600k 4.5ghz and a 1080ti with 16gb ddr4. I'm about to upgrade to a 8600k for vr. I currently own an htc vive. Is it worth the extra money for a 8700k over the 8600k? If so, why? As for regular non-vr gaming, I game in 4k 60hz so a cpu upgrade isn't needed for that. Only care about vr. Thank you.
