So my 870evo plus 5005gb nvme ssd is installed at pci x4 speed into m.2 slot. x4 is verified in bios.
samsung magician benchmark results in 280000iops r/w. instead of advertised 500k.

What can be the bottleneck?
-i9 9900k stock
- 32gb ram 2x 16stick ddr4 3200 cl16
aorus master
- 1080ti

Im not familiar exactly what affects this number , but samsung site says " based on hardware config " etc... so there must be a logical reason whats lacking.

If you know share please

  1. "870 EVO Plus" does not exist. 860 EVO (SATA III) or 970EVO Plus (NVMe). Which one is it?
  2. Please post a screencap of whatever is showing you this.
sorry yes. its 970 evo plus. nvme.

the data i told you is just from samsung magician / benchmark drive.
the 480k data is from samsung site/ ssd name / specifications
