8700k deference in Core temps, what's acceptable?

I notice always a 9-10 degree difference Fahrenheit between the cores. This also usually ends up being 4-5 Celsius depending on what numbers your used to. Are these differences in temps unusual for the 8700k or do I need to repaste between cpu and cooler? Never been delidded, probably wont either.

Solution

Depends how much you slide it. A couple millimeters is probably ok, but if it slid around half a cm or more you may want to reapply...but again, if temps are otherwise ok, then it is probably fine. Again, there will ALWAYS be temp differences between cores, so 4-5 degrees difference is perfectly normal.

I just reapplied as equal as possible. I did give it a slight twist a couple degrees to make sure the cooler was parallel. Unless I somehow messed this one up too, it seems the same. It's usually within 5c or 10 degrees. Could have messed it up again though lol. Ever time I take the cooler off it doesn't look perfect. I think I may need to get a better cooler than the hyper evo because it's mounting option is just too finicky.
