8700k OC'd to 5 GHz Temp Spiking

I recently put this build together and am very satisfied with the performance, however, the CPU spikes anywhere from 55c-65c while using chrome. I noticed this while I was watching a video on Youtube. My temps would spike regularly every 4 seconds or so and I noticed this because my system fans would kick up and slow back down. As you all may know this is incredibly annoying. Idle temps are steady at 30c.

Hardware:
Cooler: EVGA CLC240
Mobo: ASUS ROG Strix Z390-E

I understand that this might be normal but I have yet to find a thread about this specific issue and I'd like to know if I could keep it from happening.

Sounds like maybe throttling. though hopefully someone else knows more. or maybe your motherboard is reporting messed up temps...

Work with different fan curves for thermal thresholds, RPM and time delay options in BIOS. There's a combination of settings which will solve the problem, so you just need to invest some time to find it.
