[SOLVED] 8700k - Package Power Consumption suspiciously low

Recently built a new rig with an 8700k, fiddling with some OC'ing, and I cant get seem to get a power consumption figure from any of the programs I've tried.

HWMonitor and CoreTemp both read ~3.4W at idle and up to ~4.5 under loads (tried with Cinebench R15 / Prime95 26.6 / various games)

I would have to assume these numbers are incorrect but I have no way of measuring draw from the wall atm to verify and see true readings.

Other info:
Current OC: 4.8GHz @1.23V (stable, have ran P95 for hours at this spec)
Idle at about 32C, Up to just ~80 under heavy benchmarking loads, 55C when gaming

Wondering if anyone else has encountered a similiar issue, or any potential fixes for this?

Solution
You can use the CPU dynamic leakage power formula below,
P= CV^2 F.
At 3.6 GHz, 1.05V (stock, base clocks at Vcore) the CPU drains 95W.
Solve for C, which is ~23.94*10^-9 s/V^2
or
P= 23.9 (Volts) × (Volts) × (GHz) = power in Watts

I figured that the wattage measurement via software however might have been incorrect given the extremely low values. I haven't been able to find any other sources quoting wattages, particularly under load, that are as low as what I am seeing.

Perhaps I'll check from the wall but just wanted to ask around to see if anyone else has seen similar figures.
