8800 GT with Asus A8VE ?

Hi Guys,

I have Asus A8Ve motherboard, ı broke my old graphic card (ati 1600) and bought a new card but it didn't match with my mother board. So ı want to buy 8800 GT but ı dont know its work with my mother board ?

My system

asus a8ve
amd 3500+
ati 1600 (broken card)
400w psu

you should be good to go with that card. your board supports pcie 1.0 and the 8800gt is backwards compatible. you may be held back by your cpu a bit though, maybe try and OC the cpu a bit to make sure its not holding your system back
