8800gtx dualview help

well im technically useless and bought a dell for the 4 year service plan .... please keep reading !! =)

i cant run my nvidia 8800gtx in dualview it gives me the option to clone, horizontal span or vertical span.

ive updated the drivers from the nvidia site same thing i dont know the card manufacture because its a dell .. their customer support have spent close to 6 hours trying to fix it and its still not working they even came out and replaced the card, same problem

system
intel dualcore 6800xt 2.93 ghz
XP professional 32 bit
4MB DDRAM
xi-fi sound card
8800gtx graphics (single card not sli)

if anyone could help or point me in the right direction id be grateful.

Try right clicking on the desktop and selecting "Properties" then choose the "settings" tab. Hopefully you should see two square boxes. Highlight the number two box and then under the resolution slider bar you will see two boxes. Check the box labeled "Extend my Windows desktop to this monitor" and leave the other box unchecked. This should take care of it as Dual View is actually a windows feature. Hope this helps.
