880K vs. 860K

Solution

Faster clock speed, better cooler + less noise. It might be worth it over the 860k if you don't want to buy an aftermarket cooler to overclock it. It's supposed to be almost as good as the 212 EVO.

However you also may also want to consider the 845. The single thread performance actually beats both the 860k and 880k, but the drawback is that you can't overclock it.

The clock speed is not the only difference. The 880k comes with the New Wraith cooler. It's a 125 watt cpu cooler with copper heat pipes. It is fairly big so I would make sure it doesn't interfere with your RAM slots or Pci-e slot.
