8GB DDR3 RAM picking up as 4GB

So I recently acquired a single 8GB DDR3 1333MHz stick of Kingston low-profile RAM. I currently have 2x 4GB DDR3 1333MHz Kingston low-profile sticks installed in 2 of 4 of my DIMM slots, slot A1 and B1 (both blue slots). I figured that I could add the 8GB stick and get 16GB in total, turns out that it didn't work and my mobo doesn't support a 3 DIMM config. I removed 1 of the 4GB sticks and replaced it with the 8GB stick to get a total of 12GB. The board accepted the configuration, but only 8GB shows up. I went into the BIOS and found that it was reading the slot as having 4GB instead of 8GB. I have searched online and no where can I find the solution. Yes my BIOS is up to date, yes my mobo (Intel DH7EB) supports up to 32GB of RAM and yes I have 64bit Windows 10. Any solutions would be greatly appreciated.

I actually haven’t checked that yet, I’ll check that ASAP.

So CPU-Z shows me 8GB of RAM with the 2x 4GB sticks. I honestly think Kingston made an error on their site.

I assume this is the original memory you had installed before trying to add the other. Correct?

I'd like to believe that, but if it is true that my board doesn't support the high density 512M x 64-Bit memory, then that would mean it also couldn't support the 256M x 64-Bit memory (This if for the memory currently installed). Unless I am understanding this wrong the KVR1333D3N9K2/8G module is based on sixteen 256M x 8-bit DDR3-1333 FBGA components per module, which is supported by my board, this is also assuming that the stick is in fact a 4GB stick. Now the current sticks in my board are in fact 4GB sticks, described as 2GB sticks on the Kingston website and also fall within the category of supported memory.
