8GB Ram perfectly fine for just gaming?

I know there is a tonne of threads on 8gb vs 16gb ram but if i'm just gaming then 8gb should be more than enough? The only intensive game I play is far cry 4, the rest is just minecraft, turbo dismount and some star wars games etc.
(And just another quick question since i dont want to have to make another thread, the palit 970 jetstream wont bottleneck the i7 4820k or will it?)

Yes, 8GB will be fine (for now).

Playing planetside 2 today i did see 7.8GB usage out of my 16GB. Its cutting close...

No bottlenecks, 970 and 4820k will work great together.

Yes now it will be fine for gaming but if you want, go for 16gb for more 'futureproof'. Also, i7 5820k and 970 won't bottleneck

1. 8GB is what I use too, 16GB is an overkill.
Anything lower than 8GB may result in reduced performance (even 6GB is fine, sometimes).
Also, don't try to go into the "cas latency" stuff, it will just confuse you and does not matter.
2. An i7 4820K won't bottleneck any GPU.
