[SOLVED] 8tb Ironwolf partitions not recognised internally, works fine with dock

I purchased a Seagate 8tb Ironwolf to be used as a desktop hdd
Put it on a USB docking station, made one full partition, formatted it with NTFS and copied 5,5 TB of data.
Everything going as it should.

Installed it internally now, as was the plan (removed one hdd and put this in its place)

Disk management shows it as a 7.5 TB HDD , BUT shows the empty space (2 TB) as a GPT partition and space where my files are (5,4 TB) as UNALLOCATED.

I cant access the data, nor assign letter, actually i cant do anything, all options are greyed out.

What can I do to use it internally, without losing the data?
I docked it again and it works as it should via USB
Connected it internally, again same issue.

Any advice?

The dock's firmware is probably configured for a sector size of 4KB. You need to purchase a dock with a sector size of 512 bytes.

Hello, the docking station works fine, it reads and writes perfectly well.
it s only when the hdd is inserted internally ad connected via sata to the motherboard that the partitions are not recognised bythe system
