94% Memory idle???

So i fresh reboot about 45 minutes ago, and i haven't opened any games or anything that takes much memory. I have Steam open and I'm watching a video on Chrome, but somehow im using 94% memory????

Its been happening a few days now, it just builds up while I do nothing...

Dual Monitors
16gb RAM DDR4

Why is my memory being hogged?

May I see the memory status on System Monitor?
Could be a RAM problem (defective stick/slot, improper installation, etc).
I have experienced high RAM utilization because of defective stick. Most of memory usage fall to "hardware reserved".

Its not as high now, but it always seems to be using WAY too much. this only started happening a few days ago

Are you using any torrent client(such as utorrent)? Because if you let them long enought to run they eat almost the entire ram available.
