So first of all i regret updating my corsair ls 120gb ssd. Seriously why i did that. Anyway, after that installed a fresh windows 10 (well obviously it deleted everything). So after windows 10 install i checked the corsair software make sure everything is fine and i found a new update but did not care. Installed windows updates & drivers and so on. But something went wrong. I have been using this system almost a week everything crashes. Browser, spotify, dota2 like everything even just opening tabs computer freezes for no reason. Is it possible that update hurt my ssd. Looks like a stupid question but i used that system almost 1 year. After ssd software update it went crap. Before this post my computer froze once again and wanted to open this thread. Any suggestion?

Solution
Hey there, batuhan!

I'd suggest you try to resolve the issue by disabling some Windows Services that might be causing these spikes. So your system consists only of a 120 GB SSD with no secondary HDD, is that so?
Another thing you should check is the SATA connection to the SSD and also swap the SATA cable that is connecting it with a different one. It might also be a good idea to plug it to a another SATA III port on your motherboard. This could potentially fix the usage spikes as well.
If none of these help, I'd suggest you backup your files and test the drive using a SSD-specific diagnostic tool to determine the health and SMART status.

Hope it helps. Keep me posted! :)
