960 2GB STRIX drops /more/

Hey,
I downloaded MSI afterburner and wantet to overclock the gpu a bit.. I played with the settings but wasnt that much curious and pressed the DEFAULT button.. After this big mistake.. i have low fps on all of my games.. before using the program i had 300fps on CS.. now i have 150-230..

Does DEFAULT killed it ?

Your GPU is fine. I would uninstall MSI afterburner reboot and reinstall again. This will bring your card back to stock settings.

The thing is that i don't want to overclock it anymore.. Before even downloading the program i was running specifically cs go on avarage 300fps .. now it goes around 130-260 never stable.. on dus2 map (had stable 200+) ..

I use EVGA Precision X, not afterburner. So I cant tell you what exact button to press on afterburner. But they programs do the same thing and uninstalling the program will erase the settings.

Uninstall afterburner and reboot your system. It will bring your GPU back to factory settings. If you dont want to OC, then dont reinstall afterburner.

Hm did that and nothing change.. I just tested some games.. everything else is running like before.. just cs is struggling..
And if I tempt to oveclock it.. should i? Its a 4year GPU never changed the thermal paste and etc.. IDL temps are 50C is it ok ?
