Well,<A HREF="http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=19405" target="_new">the Inq</A> did a little bit with the HL2:VST. Look at the performance difference between the Celeron 1.2 and the XP1800+ with the 9800 Pro. And this is just the stress test even.

I was thinking with an unlocked mobile Barton 2500+, I could do benchies from 1.0Ghz up to 2.6Ghz. It would be next weekend before I could get a chance to do it(dreadful week ahead), but that would be fun to use a R8500/R9500P/R9800P and various CPU speeds to FRAP a real world run through of D3demo/Farcry/ and HL2 soon.

Yeah it's interesting. You see that alot, some games are estemely CPU limited, and others are strictly graphics card limited (once you reach basic system level).

Watch what you promise to do, you may get roped into doing a whole thread.

I wanted to run some benchies this weekend, but really Busy.
