Alright, so I got an AMD FX 8350 for christmas. It was all fun and games until I hooked it to my MB and checked the speed. It was running at 2.8ghz per core. Shit. So I found out my current shitty micro ATX mobo does not support the 125w processor and bumps the performance down. So in a flash, I went and bought a new mobo. I got the cheapest and best one I could find on newegg. I had no money and had to ask my parents for the money so I really had no room to get anything better. I ended up getting a ASRock 970 PRO3 R2.0, which has a 970 chipset. I watched a review on it after ordering and it says that the 970 chipset can slow down 8 core processors? Will the board do me good or should I return it when I get it? Also, how does it do for overclocking?

Thanks!
