970 or 390 ?

What card shoulld I get the gtx 970 or amd r9 390 ? I only game at 1080p

970 is the better card. @1080p it's faster, uses less power and produces less heat.

it depends on your budget and type of configuration you want to build. if you have chosen intel then go for gtx 970 but if you are going with amd build then go for r9 390 . although i prefer nvidia as the price is low the performance is also good . choice is your's

Nvidia and AMD cards behave just as well with Intel or AMD CPU's so this advise is really bad!

That is a total misconception! It does not play better at all than a nvidia card with AMD system!

That would be wrong, as long as the cpu can keep up with the gpu the combination doesn't matter.

sorry for my suggestion . as i have heard this thing from indian local dealers . i don't have any idea then . but as a whole a build with intel + nvidia will be good for him and is always better than the amd one .
