970m with 3gb of vram vs 970m eith 6gb of vram

Hi, i am in the process of finding a laptop for working and gaming only (no video editing or anything like that) and found that the 970m was the perfect chip for me in terms of price and performance.

However, i was wondering if i only play at 1080p will there be any performance differences between the 3 and 6gb versions?

Also,what laptop would someone recommend i get that has an ssd and hdd, a 970m and 16gb of RAM. 1080p screen is fine. Keep in mind i live in the UK.
