Im thinking of either getting a 4790k+980 or 4690k+980 ti
Im hoping to stream and record on shadow play and i thought that this may allow me to go for the ti build? what do you guys think. i wanna be able to run gta 5 ultra 60fps, whats worth what?

What resolution are we talking? At 1080p 60hz it would be worthless you would never use all of the gpu, a gtx 970 would be plenty for that. The 980 ti is good for a 1440p high refresh rate monitor, or a 4k panel any less than that and it would just be a waste.

I was just thinking of 1080p 60hz, do you think i should gowith a 980 instead? im thinking or recording too

I think you should get a 970 if you dont want to waste money a 980 is still very overkill for 1080p 60hz even the 970 can be overkill at 1080p60 for a lot of games.

Its very easy nowadays and there are plenty of easy to follow guides on how to do it. It can be time consuming but its not hard once you learn the basics.

do you think i should go for 5820k + 970? for streaming and recording>

Not unless you have the disposable income, an i7 4790k is a very capable streamer and recorder i doubt the performance boost you would get with a 5820k and an x99 platform would be worth the price.

Well i have £1040 to spend, what do you thikn is the best?

To me it is, my PC boots in 15 seconds, my games launch and load immediately even things like opening chrome are just so much more responsive. It wont get you any more fps in games but it can help with texture popping and hitching in some games. I could never go back to a hard drive as my main drive after experiencing an SSD.
