9800 XT or Fire GL X2

Recently I have tried to buy one ATI 9800 XT but they are exhausted, the salesman has offered me by same price one FIRE GL X2. It will also serve to me to play? As of them he is better for games?

The FireGL is for pro 3D apps such as Maya or 3D studio.

The 9800pro is 95% as fast as the XT, and half the price. Try and find a 9800pro.

The salesman wants to rip you off! Get a Radeon 9800 PRO or wait for the GeForce 6800 or Radeon X800. They will hit the shelves within a month! And they will both perform very well in games. A lot more than 9800XT, as we saw in the first Geforce 6800 reviews.

In fact, right now, the Radeon 9800XT is not a good buy, new cards from nVidia and ATI will probably cut their price down.
