Question Ryzen 9800X3D - - - PBO undervolt freezes my PC before it can log it into Event Viewer ?

Been trying to find a stable undervolt for my PC, going through the time to find a stable curve optimizer value on per-core setting. I've been following a PBO2 guide on youtube from a channel named Bosmang which worked really well when undervolting my 5800X. Unfortunately one of the methods used for finding out which core crashed/failed through logging WHEA errors on Event Viewer doesn't work on my 9800X3D as instead of my PC shutting off automatically on an unstable curve, my PC completely freezes until I manually shut it off myself which results in no log to see in the Event Viewer.

After using Prime95 which allowed me to find what cores to dial down on the undervolt before my PC freezes, I played a bit of the Monster Hunter Wilds beta which then froze my entire PC making me believe my curve wasn't stable. Went searching around for another alternative to Prime95 and found CoreCycler/Y-Cruncher, but even after running more tests to find another stable curve, I booted up Monster Hunter Wilds again and ran into another system freeze.

While it may just be the game causing this, I just want a stable undervolt that doesn't give me another system freeze. And I've been told I might have the worst luck of silicon lottery with the current curve setting I have being:

which I can assume is really low. Is there any way to fix the freezing on unstable settings and have my PC shut down automatically instead so I can at least see a WHEA error in Event Viewer?

Start with absolutely no undervolting. Work and game as usual to determine if the system remains stable without any crashes or shutdowns.

Then, if undervolting is still desired/required, then do so but in very small increments.

Allow time between all actions, keep notes, make no other changes.

The objective simply being to determine at what voltages the problem begins.
 
Honestly would still like to be able to at least get something logged into Event Viewer so I could have something to go off of and have more info. Have no clue why my PC decides to freeze on an unstable undervolt rather than shut itself off
 
Just remembered that my motherboard has a 16-pin connector for the CPU and I'm only using half of them.
While undervolting means I'm using less power, is there any chance that using all 16-pins could fix this?

I was told on a previous thread to look up what Reliability Monitor logged, but the only description I got was "Windows didn't shut down properly". I'm not sure if I should chalk this up to really bad luck in the silicon lottery seeing how low the curve is compared to most other 9800X3D's I see online, or I have some sort of defective hardware. I just want my PC to be able to shut off automatically rather than freeze so I can actually have WHEA log data to go of off from there.
Also wanted to note that my motherboard has a 16-pin connector for CPU power and I'm only using up 8 of them. While undervolting is supposed to mean using less power, is there any chance that connecting all 16 pins to the PSU could fix my undervolting problem?
