Will a high end Z370 motherboard support the new 9900 KS edition that is 5ghz on all core ??

Thanks however the 9900ks is unreleased and I heard that the Bios updates are out for Some Z390 boards. The Z370’s were left out this round...

No bios for Asus supports the 9900ks at this time. You’ll have to wait until the bios’ launch to see which boards will be supported but the board in question has a very solid VRM and should be supported.

I checked again for the z390 and don’t see a bios update directed at new CPU support. However there was a bios release for the z370 board 10/17 that adds new CPU support. Until they update the supported CPU list it’s all guessing. Obviously z390 will support it. There’s no reason that z370 board can’t unless they just want to force people to buy a new board.

Thanks I checked today and the update is there. I didn't see the Bios a few days ago. Intel must have posted it in the last couple days...

You're probably right however it's possible the prices will go down to compete with AMD...
Cascade lake x will get a big discount according to Tomshardware.

Maybe 9900k and ks will get price cuts...
