I stated in a previous post about me being a content creator and use my pc for my own work as well, I don't necessarily need a super high end build, but having a good cpu/ram is great for my rendering/video software, that being said I also am a gamer and will be playing games at 1440p/2k, I found some more deals today, better deals. So basically what I'm asking is what is the better bang for the buck and performance-wise opinions on these two? basically for about a hundred dollar different between the combos.

For reference prices I can get the combos for:
1) 9950x3d + 9070 xt $2649
2)14900kf + 5070 ti $2499

Which would you go for now, my opinion is probably the 9950x3d + 9070 xt is what I'm thinking right now especially at 2k/1440p. Any opinions and don't forget to vote, thanks in advance.

I vote for the i9-14900K + 5070ti option.
For gaming work, the X3D processors are great. But for multithreaded work the 14900k looks stronger.
And, the 5070ti may be stronger, Good for higher resolutions.
Plus the combo is cheaper.

Look at the ultra 265/285 processor reviews. There is another option.

Yeah, looked at other options, not putting it together this time myself so getting a pre built with good warranty. Anyways I'll be doing most of my video editing/rendering work from this PC with a healthy load of gaming as well via a 2k/1440p monitor for the gaming.

14900k get beaten by 9950x3d. Even 14900ks without enabling Intel Default Setting can only get 40000-41000 without overclocking, but 9950x3d can easily get 42000, only consuming 220watts.
After an auto-undervolting it can reach 46000 in safe mode of Windows, while nobody dare to overclock an 13/14th CPU due to its former instability issue. After enabling Intel Default Setting, it can only get 38000, 10% behind 9950x.

285k should be in trash bin due to its price(even higher than 9950x), but 265k is extremely wonderful, as it's only 1999$ in my area, while 9950x is 3999$ and 285k is 4399$. I don't know if 265k's price has been reduced by 35% in other regions, if so, it's a great deal.
