A Cooler Question

Something that has stemmed from a point made on my thermal paste question: how can I know if a cpu cooler, the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo for example, will fit over the RAM I plan to get (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9-Vengeance-Performance-Desktop/dp/B004CRSM4I/ref=lp_430511031_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1426454092&sr=1-1 <this'n). Will I have to plump for the low profile version of said RAM? Will that have any cooling or performance detriment?

The 212 Evo is not wide or long enough to go over the RAM slots. You can use the 212 Evo with any type of RAM.
