a couple of probs with my pc build..

hi everyone i recently built my pc.. here but am reusing a 250W power supply which only comes with a 4 pin power supply(instead of the 8 on the mobo).i5 6400, gigabyte 150m-d3h, ddr4 ram 4gbX2. im using on board graphics hd530.here are some of the problems ive faced. sometimes when i type it gets laggy(when you type apple only ape appears) and the mouse cursor moves in slow motion.my questions are, is it due to the power supply(since it only has a 4pin); do i need a new psu; and do i need to install a graphic card.. thank you so much for reading this..means a lot.
p.s. i even had problems typing these words out :🙁

No reason outside of gaming/video encoding go add a gpu. Did you install the chipset drivers that came with your motherboard? If not get on gigabytes website and do so may help your issues

yes ive done the above. i have also re installed windows 10 but to no avail. do you think it could be due to the psu?when these errors come about, the pc is on light duties like emailing and we b surfing..

What kind of 250 Watt supply? It's plenty for the setup if its a decent one if its some crappy OEM one it may well be the issue

All I can think of is if you're using a USB keyboard/mouse do you have them plugged in black usb2 ports ??

If you plug into USB 3 (blue) ports you can get interference from wireless networks.

i think its a crappy one.. power logic is the brand

that sounds interesting.. i will definitely check that out tomorrow morning..plus i am indeed using a wireless mouse n kb

If they happen to be Logitech I suggest plugging the nano receiver in a front USB 2 rather than a rear - & usb3 definitely 100% interferes with wireless keyboards/mice badly mate.

@madmatt. I also have a usb wifi dongle connected to a usb port. Does that have to be connected to usb 2.0 as well? Thank you.
