So Ian designing a new gaming pc, and I have a few questions.

Should I bother getting a gtx 770 4gb? I would like at least 60+ fps on games at ultra settings. What other godus could do this?

Also should I get an i5 4690 or the i5 4670? Also if I get the k version will it decrease the lifespan of the processor?

Yeah get the GTX 770, but get the 2GB, 4GB models are a waste of money.

i5 4590 (or 4590K), it has a faster stock clock. And no, overclocking doesn't decrease the lifespan of a processor.

if I were buying a new card now I would consider more that 2gigs................ think about what you are doing or going to do. think about future games ( some present ) and think about the resolution of your next monitor............ 2500res will soon be as popular as 1080p is right now. need more for that.

Why get the 770? I have read a lot of reviews of the 760 saying you can get good frames at ultra on most games at 1080p. Also the 4590 has a faster clock by .1ghz. Will that make that much of a difference for the price?
