hello!!! now I come to this forum to see if someone could help me with another doubt I have. It happens that I want to put a hard drive in my pc which is the "barracuda 1tb 7200 rpm", it turns out that the problem is that I have a small problem with putting this hard drive because I have a power supply of 600w and I do not know if it will withstand the power of this hard drive. My components are:

cpu: ryzen 7 5700x stock

graphic card: rx 6700xt red devil

motherboard: msi mag b550 tomahawk max wifi

ram: 2x 16 gb 3600 kingston fury renegade

ssd: 1 of 500gb and the other of 1tb 3500 mb/s (both are m.2 nvme pcie kingston)

cooler: deepcool ak620

fans: 4 (I don't know its model but one is from msi, specifically the one that comes with the vampiric 010 cabinet)

Like MWink said, the amount of power required to run a mechanical hard drive is so small that you shouldn't even consider it. Same with the fans, RAM, etc. Unless you're running a NAS with like 10 of them spinning at all times it's not going to make any noticeable difference to your power draw. The only time you should really care is if you're running off a laptop battery which obviously is not the case.

The things that have a serious impact on your electrical usage are going to be your CPU and any other high end components connected to your expansion slots (video cards, sometimes sound cards). Use a PSU that has a little more than enough capacity to support just those two and you should have room for the rest. 600W is more than enough for what you're using.

thank you both very much!!! it worked!!!! and with the one I have I am more than satisfied, it has excellent performance and I am happy!!! thank you very much for your advice!

What is the requirement for a third drive?

How will the HDD be used?

Power not likely to be an issue but the HDD could otherwise slow performance.

Why not another SSD?

There may be other options....
well apparently it works perfect, and I only use 1 ssd barracuda 1 TB at 7200 only for gaming, mostly because I used to use 2 of those to play games that do not require mandatory ssd and to have games like overwatch or halo installed there (because they are heavy and I prefer to leave the ssd for single player games). And the reason why I do not put another ssd is because the pci slots are already occupied by 2 of them and I would generate an expense to have to buy another, especially because I'm saving for future projects.
