A dying graphics card?

So I recently having some unusual symptoms it mainly happens while playing games, the game freezes and I can't continue and when that happens I face one of the two things below :

1- I get a BSOD so I force restart
2- The game freeze but I can close it through the task manager and I can explore windows normally BUT I get like some artifacts while using some programs and games etc ... and i have to restart also to get rid of these artifacts

Am I experiencing a dying GPU ?

My built
AMD Phenom II X4 965
ATI Radeon HD 5770 (40C idle , 70-80C while gaming)
8 GB RAM
GA-78LMT-S2P

Dude pics of the artifacts that you mention. Do you see any strange colors in bios?

Sorry I didn't print screen while having these artifacts but it is very similar to this picture

but only I get it while using programs or games other than that the windows act normally even if I'm having these artifacts
and no strange color in bios ...

That looks like vram failing, try switching to integrated GPU, if that helps you known its GPU problem.

Another problem could be with your PSU, what psu you got dude?

I have a brand new Seasonic ECO 600W
and you mean whenever I get these artifacts I switch to the integrated GPU and see if it makes any difference ?

Ok nice PSU, yeah try integrated, to see if it makes artifacts go away
