Question A few minutes after Windows has started up, the monitor will lose the source. What could be causing this?

A few minutes after Windows has started up, the monitor will lose the source. It's the same if a video game gets started or not, if we do lose the source we still hear the sound from the game.

This happens only sometimes, but often, sometimes with weeks or just minutes between it happening.
The Nvidia card is a 4090 Strix OC
The Monitor is a Samsung 49" Odyssey OLED Curved S49CG95 240 Hz 5120 x 1440 - the native resolution windows is set to.

Tried DisplayPort cable before, then tried using Micro HDMI that came with the monitor- same problem
Tried different ports on the GPU as well.
Tried reinstalling nvidia driver

Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this?

try lowering the refresh rate, if it stays on, faulty monitor
try a different monitor or TV to verify that it's nothing else of your system having problems
