My computer crashed in January, which was a huge nuisance. I was forced to
buy a new computer, which made me angry at first. But then I installed the
Sims 2- and I forgot my woes- and massive credit card bills, before the
wonder of the game. I had never realised what the game looked like until I
bought a computer with a decent video card. It's like having a whole new
game. But I'm impressed that it was still able to run on my lesser machine,
it just limited the number of guests and cut some of the animation
sequences.

Anyway, I just read through some of the recent posts and I thought I might
reply to a few...

First, to Uncensorizer, though I agree with most of what you said, I think
it's important that you know that George W. Bush is a Southern Baptist, not
a Catholic. There is a big difference of belief and evangelisation.

Tymelord, I had that happen the first time I played the game. I tried to
get Don Lothario to marry Cassandra Goth and he left her at the altar. She
had to see a therapist, it was sad and funny. Is Daniel a romance sim?\

Dee, you can find the mood-maximising picture at the Mod the Sims 2 site.

Vivian, if you type exit in the cheat dialogue box, it will go away.

And I bet there was not antialiasing (smoothing) on your other machine
either. I know mine does not have the antialiasing cause my card doesn't
support it, I think.
Anyway, I do so wish I could use the smooth option.
