oh yeah i forgot about combos lol, thanks. And the $15 difference isn't bad at all. but is that a good card? idk it looks a bit sketchy, and only one DVI
I'm sure the Gigabyte GPU would be fine. It doesn't have the fancy cooler that the HIS card has, but it does have a nice Zalman fan. It also includes an HDMI to DVI adapter if you need dual DVI. I would rather have the Gigabyte GPU and a 940 than the HIS and 720, but it's not my money.
IK you might be getting annoyed w/ my constant bombardment of questions. But I found this http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.206759 and thought it would be pretty nice. It's a 4890 ik, but the one hold back is the locked multiplier on the CPU now. I'm thinking I like the unlocked multiplier more than a step up to the 4890.
There's also this combo for the same price that includes a factory overclocked 4890. You can still overclock the CPU even without the unlocked multiplier. I'd be very temped by this combo if I was in the market right now.
