the pc im about to build i just want to get a opinion or two.

i7 3770k
16gb 1600 patroit ram
asrock h61 motherboard
cx500 psu
1tb 64mb 7200rpm barracuda HDD
thats just the basics i'm waiting till i get a job to upgrade the h61 to a z77 and a much better seasonic power supply and a larger 7870 to do some gaming. this pc will mostly be for video editing and photoshop, video rendering.

It isn't. Pairing a 3770K with a motherboard that prohibits access to the multiplier defeats the purpose of purchasing the CPU in the first place.

That Corsair CX500 is a decent PSU but it will most likely struggle with that setup. Go with the Seasonic S12 520W instead - it's a much stronger and better built power supply.

im getting a z77 at a later date i know that the k is for overclocking and you cannot unless its a p67, z68 or z77 i stated it in the beginning. and a 500w can handle that cpu and no graphics card just fine. do you think it is a good buy? here is a snap of my cart. http://puu.sh/1De7i i may only have this setup for a month or even less until i can get a job since i'm only 16 and this is my Chrismas Gift from my parents.

It can but that CX500 is poor quality (and it's a Corsair PSU I know), the Seasonic is 520W and is a much stronger and better built power supply that will handle the voltage output required from Ivy Bridge CPUs: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817151094

it goes over my $650 limit. i would get a 3770 and that power supply but i don't want to have to buy another cpu to overclock when i get a new power supply mobo and 7870. i know the cx500 is sketchy and i have dealt with sketchy PSUs before and i know not to go heavy on them. i plan on upgrading the mobo and psu asap to http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139010, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130646 , http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161404. thanks for your input btw
